Ears correction Protruding ears or disfigured ears can be very disturbing for their owner. The outward appearance is very important for the most people. Protruding ears do not conform to the norm and their owners are often teased in the childhood. Girls cannot wear certain hairstyles. This can extremely disturb young people and negatively influence their development. The surgery lasts for about 60 minutes, for psychological reasons it should be done before starting school. The goal of the surgery is a natural shape of an ear conch with no signs left by the surgery. Ideally, the ear conch may protrude no more then 30° from the head.
Surgery We have developed a special procedure: a several mm long incision is made on the tip of the ear, a laser is induced under the skin and the ear cartilage is softened under protection of skin. A new shape of the ear cartilage, achieved this way, is fixed with the help of a hidden thread inserted through this opening. A soft headband should be worn at night for about 4 weeks.
